The previous owner of this beautiful classic car had asked Paul if he would like to take on the car pending his retirement and was so excited at the opportunity to carry on the business he arranged the purchase some months later.

Now with the help of Paul’s loving family he launched Classic Sapphire in April 2012 ensuring she stays in the wedding car business.

In 1960 Armstrong Siddeley ceased production meaning this Star Sapphire was one of the last cars to be built and has been in use all of her 53 years only to be dismantled and fully restored some 25 years ago and remains in immaculate condition to this day. As Classic Sapphire is a family business Paul runs the business alongside his brother in-law who is a qualified mechanic and an expert in maintaining classic cars meaning she stays in tip top running order.

Paul delivers a personal service and answers all enquiries to the best of his ability regarding Star Sapphire history and his services. Paul feels that meeting and greeting future bride and groom’s personally he can make the couple feel at ease as the lead up to wedding can be stressful.
